The Hybrid-Double Dinner

Nick and Judy walked into the guest room and found Jack wrapped in Rose’s arms. Rose was awake but Jack was sound asleep in her arms.

Rose: “Isn't he an angel when he sleeps, I love waking up to that handsome face every morning.” she rubbed Jacks ears which made him sigh blissfully. Jack loved Rose’s touch, nice and soft. Rose planted a kiss on his neck, this finally woke him

Jack: Rose?” he rolled over and his nose touched hers

Rose: Finally awake? Well, If you are what do want to do?”he ignored her question, and focused on the fact their noses were touching. Jack quickly gave Rose a kiss and blushed

Jack: I-I love you” he gave her a hug. Then he noticed that Nick and Judy were there. Judy was smiling at the loving display.

Judy: Jack?”

Jack: Y-yes Judy?” he was stuttering, he was just so nervous wondering how rose would react. He suddenly felt something squeeze his side

Rose: I love you too Jackie!” she was kissing him repeatedly. She felt so much love for this shy white wolf that was her husband.

Judy:I was wondering…would you like to come to the park with me and Nick?”

Jack: I would love too!”

Once at the park the group of four pick a nice shady spot to sit.

Jack Hey Nick?”

Nick: yeah, what is it?” he had his arm wrapped around Judy

Jack: does it bother you? The stares I mean” Nick and Judy looked around, lots of mammals were staring.

Nick: not really, I love my bunny and won’t let anything change that” Nick abd Judy kissed

Judy: and I love my fox” Rose sighed

Rose: It's a shame animals can be so… judgemental”

Judy: so tell us about yourself Rose

Rose: well I had a nice family, great job, a boyfriend” her smile turned to a frown then one day… someone had been telling are competition about what we were doing, so they obviously one upped us. I was blamed just because I was a Fox. Things got worse when I got home my boyfriend left me for someone else, parents died in an accident I lost everything. I found a new boyfriend but he was abusive.

Judy: omg! How did you stay strong through all of that”

Rose: I didn’t, but one day a certain white fox came and helped me” she looked at Jack and gave him a kiss before breaking in his arms

Jack: I’m sorry this part really gets to her” he held Rose stroking her ears “it's ok… it's ok I’m here for you” Rose stopped crying and continued

Rose: he was being abusive to me out in public and no one cared, he threw me to the ground before telling me how useless I was. Then Jackie came and helped me” she smiled “he gave that bully a punch to the muzzle”

Jack: and ever since then we were freinds. After awhile we confessed are love for eachother and started dating until… we were in a Ice cream shop and I got down on one knee and said will you marry me?”

Nick: what did you do?”

Rose: I jumped into his arms and gave the goof the most passionate kiss ever” she looked up at Jack and he nodded

Jack: well this goof will always love you” Jack pulled her in for a kiss. He still wasn’t used to it as he blushed during the kiss but none the less she loved it

They were back at the house getting ready for bed.

Jack: hey Rose?

Rose: yes Jackie?

Jack: you know I love you and will always want to be there for you. I’m sorry that I blushed during are kiss its just that” Rose silenced him with her finger

Rose: Jackie we talked about this, and like I said I will love you no matter how shy you are. In fact your shyness is what I love most about you!

Jack: really?

Rose: of course, how you blush when I kiss you, eventhough your shy you find the cotlrage to kiss me with animals watching. I love you, for you” she put her paw on his cheek “so don’t ever think that just because your shy I won’t love you” Jack wrapped his arms around his wife and buried his head in her chest. Being taller than Jack she lead her hers ontop of his.

Jack and Rose fell asleep, but Jack had a aching thought in the back of his mind ‘what if I wasn’t there for her, or I wasn’t shy would she still love me the same way?’ he went to sleep trying to find an answer for his question.
