Just got Windows Vista yesterday. I got the Home Premium Upgrade edition, and at Best Buy it came with Windows Live OneCare, A 512mb stick of memory, and TaxCut for free (roughly $120 value). Anyways, I love it so far. The interface looks a lot better, I love the gadgets (those things on the right of the desktop) and just sooo many things I love about it. Without 512 MB of RAM, Vista won't even be installed.

I can get Vista free from my school, but I doubt it would run on any of my computers. Doesn't it need at least 512k of memory just to run the basic edition? My fastest computer only has 256K and a 1.5 ghz processor, do you think it could handle Vista?
