New boys I made a while ago hhh. Taller guy with the scar is Mavric and blonde smaller guy is Wynter. I’ve typed up a general synopsis of the story I planned for them, but it’s really rough lol, so sorry if it’s kinda rambly,,

Ok so, the story revolves around these two main guys, Mavric and Wynter. Weird names lol I know. But uh, Mavric is the subject of a sort of illegal science experiment, and Wynter works at the lab Mavric is held in as a janitor. Wynter isn’t trusted with any sort of important information obviously, but he’s always eavesdropping and listening in on confidential conversations. Not that he expected he’d really ever do anything with the information, he just likes to know what’s going on. Now, as for Mavric, he’s the main subject everyone in the lab is focusing on. Basically the purpose of the lab is genetic modification in humans, although they disguise themselves as a medicinal research lab, and Mavric is one of the test subjects of their experiments. And they actually got Mavric from like.. kidnapping him. Lol, they have workers that target people who can go missing without anyone noticing, like homeless people or drug addicts. Just, people who aren’t close to anyone and have nothing going for them. Mavric was one of those people. Um basically once they kidnap a person though, they make the subject go through an artificial amnesia, making them forget their past lives but not like how to breathe or eat or anything.
Anyway, the main test they’re performing on Mavric is the ability to regenerate limbs and the ability to quickly heal himself, like how axolotls and starfish do. So they were able to make an artificial blood pumped with chemicals and medication, which they injected into Mavric’s arteries to have it circulate throughout his body,, and they basically succeeded in their whole regeneration thing... kind of. Like, Mavric could now regenerate just about anything at a very fast pace, but he’s left with scars and deformations from where the wound was. Like, a test was done on him to see if he could regenerate an important body part. Obviously they couldn’t chop off an arm or a leg in fear of failure, so they tested it with one of his eyes. And it worked. Except, he was left with a big facial scar and his eye looked weird. The white part of his new eye was now red and the pupil was white. So obviously he wasn’t a perfect experiment, but he was able to do what was wanted of him. That’s when they started to try more tests on him. They wanted to see if he could go through physical combat and stuff, to try and make him something like a war machine. If he could sustain constant blows and keep fighting, the scientists would try to sell off their artificial blood to the government or something so that they could inject it into their soldiers. Their plans were cut short though when Mavric started acting out and not doing anything that was asked of him. He did train with weapons for a bit, just to know how to use them, but then he got bored and didn’t want to take orders from the scientists any more. Just out of spite I guess, Mavric’s kind of a jerk. And like, the scientists couldn’t make him do anything because if they’d hurt him he’d just regenerate. Of course, he’d still feel the pain of his punishments, but he’s stubborn and wouldn’t back down. This leads to the scientists deciding to restart their experiments with a new subject. I mean, they already had the blood, so they really had no need for Mavric at this point. So, the decide to kill him. See, the only way Mavric can die is if he runs out of his genetically modified blood. Once it runs through his system a few times, it wears down and becomes corrosive. If it isn’t replaced with new artificial blood in time, it could poison him and kill him from the inside out. But while these head scientists are discussing how to kill Mavric, Wynter overhears them.
Now, Wynter and Mavric had actually become sort of friends. Since Wynter is the janitor, he has to stay after hours and clean stuff up. Nobody really suspected anything of him because well, he was a scrawny college dropout and his only job was to sweep the floors and shit. So, since no one ever paid much attention to him, he’d always sneak to Mavric’s room and talk to him through the vents (because it was too risky to actually go into Mavric’s room himself). So, through these late night talks, they get to know each other more and more. Mavric teases Wynter a lot, but Wynter doesn’t mind. And after a while, Wynter starts to feel bad for Mavric. Yeah, he’s an asshole, but he’s being held in captivity like an animal, of course he’s not going to be super pleasant. After hearing about his soon to be death though, Wynter decides to sneak Mavric out. Of course this would get him fired and he’d be risking his life, but he’s very impulsive and he decided to not put up with the lab’s inhumane experiments any longer. He also really sympathized with Mavric, and he wanted to help. He figured that if he had proof that the lab wasn’t all it was made out to be, he could get it shut down and he could save anyone from being a future test subject anyway. But after he got Mavric to escape with him in his car, and after grabbing a bunch of vials of blood and general files and papers for Mavric, he realized that exposing them would take a lot more work than he thought, considering they’d probably already made some sort of under the table deal with a few important people who work for the law and/or government. But now it was too late and he was stuck with Mavric and on the run from a big organization of corrupt scientists. At this point he was too far in to back out, so he sped back home to his apartment to keep Mavric there until further notice.
From this point on, Mavric and Wynter are continually on the run. They have to deal with trying to find out who Mavric was before he got kidnapped, they have to figure out how to reveal the organization for who they really are (as they sneak back in to steal more vials of blood and paperwork every now and then), and they have to deal with the workers and other scientific hybrids from the lab that are sent to try and retrieve them. See the scientists thought they didn’t need Mavric anymore, but when they tried injecting the blood into different subjects, it’d kill them immediately, so something was different about Mavric. They needed to get him back to study him more to perfect their blood, but since he escaped, they have to do whatever it takes to get him back.
