Well here is the animatic for my Dayjob short, Sorry if the plot seems a lil confusing cus of the pace.If you have any questions please ask away : )

Serious question: How bloody long did it take to complete this animation (with voice, BGM and SFX??). It's bloody brilliant!

Well took me about 3 days to draw and arrange the drawings, and took quite a bit of time with sound editing just cutting up bits of voice lines that had issues

well animatics are simple as hell to make but only act as a guide for the real animators to get animating : ) if cartoons were done in this style I'd be dissopointed D:

That's what animatics are for, after all! They're meant to be quick animations made, like a story board. It's mostly done to get the timing and voices and other stuff settled on before the main animation's done, or if you wanna change story bits or lines. Yup!

I thought I saw Yogi bear D: And someone in there reminds me of the cat in Courage the Cowardly dog, I think it's the part where Kaddy's reading the contract.

And the portrayal of the job-centre people is pretty darn accurate, too!

Ah, I see.
Only that little loop with the sunrise - I heard that in this sort of "end times" Flash, where is shows the prophesies of trial and tribulation following the Ascension of Jesus. During the end part, where the Second Coming was shown, that music starting playing very evokatively as the Lord appeared.
Yes, indeed. I class the average Job Centre Plus (Plus? Minus, more like) employee as "clinically-unhelpful"
I identify totally with the no-work-experience thing, too... I'm still doing the voluntary work, of course. At least I'm getting XP from somewhere!
