Edit: disabled comments, only because it's an old stamp, and I don't reply to the comments on it anymore (they were all polite and friendly, btw). Feel free to use the stamp, though, I won't take it down.Because i prefer the animated Joker to the new extremely popular Dark Knight version. With all respect for deceased Heath Ledger, i don't like his version of the Joker.
I love and have always loved the Joker from Batman The Animated Series. The good old 90s cartoon, one of the best cartoon series to ever exist, in my opinion. The Joker morphed a little bit in The New Batman Adventures, but he stayed awesome. ^_^ Then i saw the red-eyed version of the Joker, The Batman version. He seemed weird at first, because he's very different from the other two, but he proved to be an interesting version, too. Finally i discovered the Batman Beyond Joker, and he was gorgeous and classy.
I hope there are more people out there, who prefer their Jokers animated. ^__^
Perhaps not the best stamp out there, but i haven't found any of this kind.
It'd be nice if you told me, if you're going to use it. ^__^

The animated ones are non-homicidal on screen only because the cartoons are aimed at kids. Take them with a pinch of salt and use your imagination and you'll get terrifying results.
To each their own, either way.

I love how wicked they all appear to be. As a child I had the censored versions Phantom Mask and Batman Beyond. Both Jokers are the best of the best to me, with the Vampire Joker right behind.
I especially like how the Joker finally lost his cool on Batman Beyond.

Finally someone else who didn't like the Dark Knight Joker. He was too realistic and that's what scared the heck out of me.

Yeah, they went too far and yet not far enough with the realism. I mean they tried to make a story about a dude dressed like a bat chasing after a dude dressed like a clown TOTALLY REALISTIC... And yet they left ridiculously huge unrealistic plotholes all over the movie. So it was not as realistic as it was intended to be, but just realistic enough to kill all the fun about the batman franchise. Terrible movie.

I meant realistic when it came to The Jokers behavior. Many psychotic people have the same personality, yet don't go to the extremes that The Joker does when it comes to their actions (mainly because they're usually caught before they can inflict much damage)

Even though I love Heath Ledgers Joker, I can agree that the best Jokers are in the Batman animated shows and not the live action movies.

But glad to see you also like "The batman" joker. He is a other other cversion but still joker, just a bit more... not sure... more of a fighter maybe? No idea, but I love him. ^^

Oh, it's many things, starting with his rough and untidy appearance, ending with constant licking his lips. Matter of taste, i guess.
Yes, "The Batman" joker is more beastly than most Jokers, but he's fun. My most favorite Joker is from Return Of The Joker and the very old BTAS too detailed, kinda ugly design, mainly cause that's how I first saw him, I guess.

Batman beyond was for me a boring show, I tried to watch it, but it was just boring for me, but have to admit also BTAS was it for me when I was a child, I guess the show was to complex for me.
Today is too late for me, the show not appear anymore on german tv... I just have an old video of some twoface episodes... but how should I watch?
About the design of the BTAS Joker... I not really like it, than I prefer more the comic versions and the "the batman" Joker. Also a bit the "Brave and the bold" joker, also with the fact that it was a bit disaappinting when I saw him the first time in the show. XD
But his actual german voice actor do a great job.

I love the Joker, Jack Nicholson is still my favorite one live action wise but yeah, joker from the animated series is the best one. Actually, I believe Mark Hamill who voiced him in the 90's series IS The Joker. I did'nt really care for the red eyed version though, I mean, the look was cool but that voice just did'nt sound very joker like to me. Oh well, glad to see that I'm not the only one who did'nt like Ledger's take on the role in TDK.
