Makes me think that somebody has jumped bail on the Grim Reaper so she has turned the case over for collection and these two somber, severe Seductresses are the "A Team" come to take the the one who is in delinquency to "Death" to debtors prison. The scene makes me suspect they have found the intended target in the building and have rented an apartment, turned on the gas without the pilot going, pulled the chimney apart to fill the whole place with gas and carbon monoxide. Planning to take the entire population of the place out to insure they get who they have come after and leave no suspicion that it was one individual who died under mysterious circumstances. Blowing the whole joint to smithereens in the end to completely cover their tracks.
