No longer pregnant, Adela decided that she was going to make up for lost time and left baby Henrik with his nanny so that she could go Tango dancing in a shady little crevice of Paris where the drinks are bad and the company's worse. Little did she expect her boss to show up with his flame...Alu passed this up? Silly, silly man. Yes indeed, this was an interesting RP indeed. I'm sure something else from this evening will come out on paper. And, yes, I realize that her dress isn't burgundy, it's crimson (for those of you that the information might have an meaning for). Something bothers me with her face too, I think it's too long, but it's a very Adela expression, so I can still appreciate it. This comes out of my being up on the mountain in a cabin with no Internet last weekend. I checked out a bunch of art books and my lesson was more natural poses and realistic cloth folds. That bit I'm pleased with (even though the stool that she's sitting on and the bar appear to be very, very short. The dress is actually inspired from one of my favorites from the 1880 Harper's Bazaar, but I think it would be more attractive in a darker color or a print on the top like in the picture.

I think my favorite thing - besides the dress, is her hand. It says a lot just by how she's holding it. You should draw more victorian clad people because damn that dress.

I think the stool and the bar wouldn't look so short if they were at a more forward-facing angle. They look like they're kind of collapsing downward right now- if you foreshortened the bar to be more level, she also wouldn't look as though she's leaning back on it.
So basically it's an issue of tilting the bar up! Otherwise, I like her expression and the modeling on her face, and nice job with the clothing folds.

HOT STUFFFFFUH. I love the folds on the dress and her, "....Is that who I think it is?" expression. Priceless.
I should draw that "accidental" kiss, I'm sure the expression on Alu's face was hilarious. Adela's probably wasn't bad, as well. Then there's Dem from behind. He probably looked like a lion with rabies.

That would be awesome! I'm planning on how to do it too, but I'm not sure how to carry it out. The whole incident strikes me as highly, amusingly, painful.
