I can't really explain why this drawing is special to me. Won't say much about it as I'd rather you make your own thoughts.My 2013 has been so life changing for me, I can't believe all the amazing things that has happened to me.. I really feel like I am finding myself again and getting back to my strong self.
The drawing has been in the making for a while now and finally finished it this evening.
I asked on my Instagram instagram.com/zindynielsen/ and private FB whether to have a cat or bird with her on the roof and a lot of you liked both ideas. However, the bird that came up a lot was the Raven and as it was my very first thought when I started the drawing I think it was a sign

I am so in love with the special feeling ravens offer. I have a raven friend in my neighbourhood that chortles when I walk by. There is something calming and comforting about their presence. What a beautiful piece of artwork!Β

Very beautifully drawn. I look at her and wonder who she is missing. I wish I could reach out and comfort her in some way. At least she is not alone with her raven friend by her side.

Hey the roof is a magical place it's were i go to think some times i want to sleep on the roof because it's so peaceful up their but i know i shouldn't because the fall may hurt.
(I like the bird it was a nice touch.)

Ravens were an essential protector of the Druids in Gaul . They were basically their alarm for advancing Romans and Germanic invaders . I really love this incidentally

Just so beautiful. Love the detail, as usual. Like how you drew her dress (and how it flows), and the crown of flowers, and the shingles of the roof. Nive "companion" she has there.
