i really like her hair.. it's pretty much the only special thing here haha ))
i know it's, well, dark, but i couldn't really imagine it being all bright and stuff.. so deal with it.

we watched pearl harbor movie in russian class and omg i died inside ;_; appearantly some critics hate on it because of some inaccuracies like plane colours but i don't really give a shit about that stuff
it was AMAZING and i was like no no no don't die i know you're going to die but don't do it and of course everyone died

PLEASE.
i don't want to offend anyone and i've seen people flip their shit because of pearl harbor paintings and drawings
it's ok if you don't like it, but please don't flame anyone or anything in the comments
i'm just an ignorant derp who likes to draw stuff

Oh goodness Your artsy-fartsyness (not a bad thing) shines through this picture! There are so many things in here I would never even think about if I were to draw it. Great job! It's so beautiful!

This describes what actually went down really well! The movie.... well. I will leave it alone.

I really like the everything!! How her stripes would otherwise make her look very cheery and 1940s (almost like a box of popcorn) but are bleeding into the water and marring the whole innocent, happy thing. And I love her expression, it's so angry and vengeful. It very much describes America at that time. Before then, we had been growing worried over the war, but we weren't actually a part of it then. Non-interventionism had been a very American point of view up until that day. When the Japanese attacked, that way of thinking disappeared. So it makes sense that her expression is that way.

I also love her hair!
(I know you know the things I said, but I am just trying to justify my feelings about this picture)

Oh, the movie, the movie.

I thought the same about stripes.. Even the 'box of popcorn' thing.
But seriously adsasoidsdoja thanks for the feedback ;_; <3 Long comments make me happy ; - ;

Pearl Harbor is considered Michael Bay's second worst movie ever (by critical standards) and there's more to dislike than historical accuracy. A lot of people said that Bay, a man who's basically got a boner for the military in his films, overused his use artistic license by skewing and rewriting so many historical facts. But at the same time, you'd be better off watching a documentary than a drama if you wanted to know how things went down. Personally, I don't like the film but I'm also not the guy who would go nitpicking every detail in it. That's just not my area of expertise. XD

As for the picture, I really like how the stripes of her dress begin to run and look like blood in the water and the smoke behind her has the stars. Also, her face doesn't look like it's emoting pain or sadness but anger. Given how we responded, that would be accurate.

Haha! Even if it's thaaaat bad in others' opinion.. Doesn't change the fact I liked it.
I mean, who doesn't like epic war-plane-explosion-random-senseless-shit made with big money?
Maybe also the fact that we watched it during a lesson instead of doing exercises made it better for me..
But yeah, I can, kinda, understand why it gets so much hate.

Thank you, thank you!
