The Onimusha saga: It's like Devil May Cry, only with Samurais. One of my personal favorite games ever. Home to some of my personal favorite characters. (Hidemitsu Samanosuke Akechi, Heihachi, Jacques Blanc, Michelle Aubert, Crow Tengu Ako, the kunoichi Kaede, Magoichi Saiga, Jubei Yagyu, Doctor Guildenstern and Gogandantess.)(And Onimusha 3 Demon Siege has Jean Reno... with a whip. C'mon! You can't go wrong with Jean Reno with a whip!)

The whip is what did it for me in the third game. Best fucking video game ever. Only game I've ever played that has a character with a whip, and I wouldn't mind if it stayed that way. Jaques is amazing.
