Description
This is a weekly jam forDraw as a super hero, comic character, fantasy character, whatever.
I drew her as Ginger from Battery Acid illustrated by
I originally wanted to do Mosh as Supergirl. But then I thought about Wonder Woman. But I chose Ginger cuz she gave me that Mosh vibe if that makes sense.
Anyways the photo I used for this was:
And a photo of the sahara desert for the background. I didn't wanna paint the background, but I wanted her in the desert.
Painted in photoshop. About 5 and a half hours.

well it shows. you render the hell out of your work haha. sometimes I over do it and sometimes I just stop. but the times when i over do it is when it comes out the best. so i need to get over my lazyness lol.

Haha. I'm weird that way. If I don't do the details, usually i'm not happy with my work. But sometimes keeping things simple works out better than infinite details

i love details. lately I try to put a lot in my digital work. I have a hard time doing it in my pencil work cuz my wrist cramps up a lot. with my tablet its really easy on my wrist so i can paint for hours and hours. but ya you're right simple is really good for some things and details are really good for other things.

you have a good eye. everything is proportioned, shaded nicely, and the pose has life - it's not one of those typical manga poses, and speaking of which, i like how she doesn't have balloon boobs. very good. very sexy.

Ya Ginger in the comic has some crazy big boobs so I made Mosh's a little bigger, but I'm not a fan of huge boobs or anything so I made them the size to my liking. And thank you so much! I want to get into a figure drawing class cuz drawing people from life is so much harder than from a photo. I don't know why. But for me it is.

Ricky better step it up haha. I'd never done fishnet leggings or black ruber latex or shiny gold or blue skin before so this was definitely a good challenge for me.
