having been an equine photographer for many years,The mere fact you caught the horse is so amazing!! horses are very difficult to shoot and you have done a lyout that is beyond impressive.
What this layout does is to make you want to see more of the horse and that is the whole concept of layouts.
As always stunning!

I'm actually a big fan of the layout. The one thing that might improve it would be to actually blur the black and white sections a bit, as well - it would increase the focus on the color section and contrast it more.

Rock on. Great work.

i love the majesty, the mystique of horses... youve captured the power and beauty wonderfully.

i like the layout a lot, too. this would make a great poster.

to quote my 8 year old brother's thoughts on horses... "oh yeah, chicks LOVE that stuff" hehe

Wow this piece is amazing. The most striking part of this is the arrangement of the images, and the images you took, excellent stuff. The logo looks amazing, and so does the choice for using b+w for the top and bottom sections! The eye shot is very personal, and shows the calmer side of the horse, and the smaller photos show the slightly wilder side of Matisse (great name btw + is that wild, or is it normal ). Matisse looks a wonderful horse

what a great series of shots.. every shot could stand out on its own. I like how you displayed them as well, with the close up at the top and the action shots at the bottom... beautiful horse and very nice captures.

Nice sequence of shots. A quick trigger finger & a keen eye. Also doubles as a great wallpaper

I like the layout with the exception of the slight glow around the boxes Everything else is solid...a thin, faded white stroke would compliment the rest of your well designed presentation. Love the shots nonetheless!

Horses are cool. I remember way back when when (no, that wasn't a typo... there are supposed to be two "whens" there) I visited my family in Poland and it was the first time I sat on a horse at someone's farm.

It looked like a dinosaur when I first saw it (I wasn't that big). It was a good expereince experience (ok, now that was a type). Glad you caught your moms horse on camera for all to see.

Excellent layout, particularly the text. The background picture looks especially well done, as well as the shutter speed on the bottom four. Great work.

Beautiful closeup! The layout as a whole is very pleasant to look at. It would make a nice print/postcard.

The small photos are all very nice captures - together a nice sequence. The second over from the right is my favorite.

A very classy display - I'm sure Matisse is just strutting her stuff you have displayed her/him just perfectly

Very nice series of shots ! I like how the top photo you took a close up and the rest you caught the horse in motion. As for the layout, it's really nicely done and different. Makes a big change. My only suggestion would be to remove the transparent line at the top as it doesn't fit in. other than that, good work on this

Well, I love just about everything on this. With the exception of the white transparent stripe above the eye, this all flows really well. The bottom sequence of shots showcase the horses active nature and the upper shot is a nice pensive capture. Great combination and I'd say you should work with this more often; the presentation can be very dynamic and eyecatching.

I love the sequencing of the four, and the capture of the eye, so expressive! I love the movement in all of them, the textures of skin and land, this is a wonderfully composed collage...well done!

I like the idea you're trying to convey. The layout of the photos is nicely done! I think (maybe it's just a personal taste), the third photograph from the left kind of throws off the sequence? Maybe it's the fact that the other mini-shots have a similiar background (with the fences)? Other than that, I think this piece is pretty well done Good job!

I have trouble with some of my layouts as well. I like the way you've sectioned off the areas here, and the small frames/large picture placement you've done here. I might've liked to see a little more sequence-flow in the smaller frames, but thats just a personal thing.

Shots are very clear and crisp, and I like the silhouette idea too!

It is so well done, I simply love this.
The change from b&w to color on the main pic is very well done with the line going through.
And the bottom shots are so crisp, almost not blury at all and they show so much energy.
Very well done

I like it, very much. I think the shots are great and the whole thing shows very good taste, both for the layout itself (how pictures are positioned and the elements you used for framing) and for the choice of the pictures (that picture in the background looks just like the right one)

I bet this is a picture Matisse would like to have hanging in a wall of (his/her)? stable. Hell, I'd like to have such a good one about me!
