you should add a slight reflection in the water, with a slight ripple effect
makes it blend in better
and also perhaps a slight shadow on the tree

just some suggestions

Yeah, the suggestions are welcome and they make a lot of sense But on the whole I decided against shadows on the trees because there is a lot of light coming from behind the render, so a shadow behind him wont help. The reflection idea is very valid though. Thanks for the feed back I really appreciate it, really.
