i really dont understand this process!
its crazy....
is it just painting, using photos?
could you explain? or show me a link or something?

It was an ambro, a plate exposed and then put against a backing to make it a positive image. I painted over the positive image, but not the type of painting you see with oils, was mostly using scrapers and pencil tip brushes. Then I removed the backing and made the plate transparent, then painted a new backing brown/black/white and mixed it against the tin again.
It might sound complicated but my explanation makes it that way, I am not good at explaining things but the whole process took less then a day.

The process is an old one, I worked for a printer who loved to paint his works and then seperate them from the backing, or plate in this case. I do it my own way, because there is no set steps to follow when you do it, just what looks right.
