What if Venomoth met the human Venonat  instead of the real Venonat ?

(THE HUMAN VENONAT IS SEEN ACTING LIKE A CAMERAMAN WITH HIS MOVIE CAMERA THAT LOOKS LIKE)
(THE MYSTERIOUS POKÉMON APPEARS, REVEALING TO BE VENOMOTH)
VENOMOTH: Why did you steal my pre-evolution's name?!
VENONAT (CAMERAMAN): (HOLDS HIS MOVIE CAMERA TO DEFEND HIMSELF) ちょっと、ちょっと、ちょっと、ちょっと、モルフォン、それは私です、コンパン 、寒さ、寒さ！(Hey, hey, hey, hey, Venomoth, it's me, Venonat, chill, chill!)
VENOMOTH: Venonat? I know it's you, but why did you steal my pre-evolution's name? Why?!
VENONAT (CAMERAMAN): なぜなら… なぜなら… 私はニックネームを使いたくなかった！ だから私はミハイル・カウフマンに私の舞台芸術を作るように頼んだ- (Because... Because... I didn't want to use my nickname! So I asked Mikhail Kaufman to make my stage-)

It seems Venonat and Venomoth are angry at each other!

Venomoth is angry at Venonat, for stealing his woman.
But Venonat is is angry at Venomoth, for stealing her brother...

I find it strange that venonate seems to fit evolving into a Butterfree more. I wonder if there is a reason for that.
