Though seriously, I used to have an intense fear of spiders, but I've grown attached to them as I grow up.

I don't know if you ever watched the show when it was on, but you think you can use static shock in some way for the next electric type PokΓ©mon that shows up? I'm not sure it would fit any of them, but I thought that might be a neat concept since you used Thor as inspiration for the pikachu family. And sorry that this has nothing to do with the picture here, I just had to ask

I never did watch the show, but i looked him up and he has a cool outfit. i dunno if i'd do it since i have no emotional attachment to the show or character but i'll keep it in mind, thanks for the suggestion

Welcome, and hey, it's a pretty good show, I'd recommend trying to watch it online even if you don't end up using his design as inspiration. Really I mentioned it mostly because that disc he rides on is too neat a concept with electricity to just ignore

It's weird. Gen II actually has a lot of my least favorite Pokemon - they're not bad or anything, it's just most of them feel weirdly... generic in comparison to later generations, and even to an extent Gen I. There are some outliers, of course, like Skarmory, Houndoom, the Starters, the Eeveelutions, and basically any of the Pokemon that were introduced that found a place on my teams in Crystal and SoulSilver, but overall they're just "okay".
Which makes your pictures all the more delightful, as I feel like they add a lot of extra character to them.

the same goes for me, there are a lot of pokemon that i just never gave much thought to, so drawing these family pics forces me to really acquaint myself with them.
i always think of skarmory as a gen 3 pokemon, because i remember it in the volcano soot area. XD

Aww, look at them having their little dance off. Β Don't be sad, little Spinarak - you can still win!

Until they give birth.
Then those babies can die!
