Pebble was excited to see his friend too, but now that he knew Sam was alright he was beginning to worry about the trouble he'd be in back home. Not only would his father never allow him to join the Rogues, he wasn't even supposed to have left home.

Pebble opened his mouth again and tried to speak, but was cut off by a burst of air as a young Zangoose dashed by. Sam seemed to recognize him, as he began to hop up and down excitedly.

"Hey! HEY! I been looking for that guy! Gunpowder said he's looking for teams to help find things!"

"G-gunpowder?" Pebble managed to stutter before his friend pushed him into a run after the Zangoose.

"Yeah! Dont you understand? It's a mission! Like a scavenger hunt! Like...A TREASURE HUNT!"

Before he knew it, Pebble was galloping along as fast as he could, trying to keep up with Sam and Dmitri, the Zangoose who was running through the hall.
