A tiger, because Datura (first drawing linked below btw) couldn't have a more discreet familiar spirit xD (even if can shrink to a more comfortable cat)
A black tiger with lightning-shaped stripes named after the roman god of thunderbolts (and Sailor Jupiter xD Nah, kidding) for a lightning-user witch... SO ORIGINAL OH MY GOD.(<-- I'm being sarcastic here)
Man, I would have been better if I'd search for other thunder-related deities before naming her... Fulgora sounds badass, and Astrape is also cool. But I named her long time ago, and I got too used to this name to change it at this point =3= (I was undecided between Jupiter and Juno btw - Juno has nothing to do with lightnings, but it's related to Jupiter so it would have been fine the same).
A couple of words for her humanoid form; I want to touch the hair while designing the outfit (I deliberately chose a wtf-outfit - an outfit that when you see it you say "what the fuck?!" xD), when came the time to draw the shoes I was so done that I just wanted to give her tiger legs (Bungou Stray Dogs' Atsushi style), but I also wanted to give her the possibility to mingle with humans (maybe wearing sunglasses). So I forced myself to do the shoes, too. THEN I REALIZED I ALSO GAVE HER TIGER'S EARS AND TAIL (like, the first feature I wanted her humanoid version to have - along with nightmare hair), SO ALL MY WORRY WAS USELESS. Mingle with humans my ass! Argh! I'm so stupid. =_=

I spend a lot of time while designing a character, sometimes I just leave it rest for some time before picking it up again. The worst thing is that some are really hard to be redrawn (like this one - I fear the moment when I'll have to draw her again

the plastic boobs are a little weird but i do like that she is build strong, too often you see wiry waifs and it is really strange that they are expected to be super powerful when they look so fragile and inept. good job

Awesome design! The fact that it's a lighting spirit and Datura a lightning witch doesn't have to do with unoriginality, but coherence. So don't think it's unoriginal, her powers are lightning related, of course, because her witch's are too, makes all the sense to me.
Both her designs are really cool, the lighning stripes are a great point for her animal form. But the humanoid form is simply badass, I like her very much. Her hair is so gorgeous, I'm speechless
