I tried looking around on gentoo's wiki and other places for guides, but they don't really go into too much detail. I love the look you have. What steps are needed? I imagine messing with css and config files to adjust the looks? Sorry if I'm an annoying pleb.

Nah, it's alright.
Actually, Archlinux's wiki helped me a lot back then.
For reference, I browsed /g/ and deviantart, and picked the WM, taskbar, terminal, etc that I like the most.
It's all pretty much just editing config files, picking colors and all.
I also used GIMP to make the Conky clock widget thing.
I didn't really edit the CSS that much for the firefox, I used the Appows/Slim CSS and simply edit the sizes and colors since everything already looked nice to me.

Awesome! Thank you for telling me, most people just say "Install gentoo" lol.
I am trying to setup awesome wm right now, but I might just use i3 as it I have it installed as well.

I used a DM called SLiM. I didn't really change SLiM config file, though, I only changed the theme.
About the firefox, IIRC I had to edit the fluxbox menu config file for it to work.
