This is the Malian singer, yes?Β In this medium she looks older than her photos, but I think that this captures a sense of her life's experiences.Β Her eyes hint at wisdom gained, not without some pain. There is also a sense of nobility about her, and yet it looks as though she may break into a smile at any moment.Β This seeming tension adds an extra emotional content to your excellent technical rendition.Β The texture of her headress scarf and the beaded jewelry is excellent.Β
I could see this as being artwork for one of her albums.Β On her web site there is a form by which you could contact her and see if there is a way that you could let her see this.Β I think she would like it.
