yes I'm also watching the anime and have a lot of mixed feelings about it XD as a figure skater myself I enjoy the attention to detail they give with pretty accurate (and impressive!!) animations! (even though the direction movement seems a little off sometimes but that might just be me knowing how those steps are supposed to work too well XD)
nevertheless it inspired this sketch of Cza in the future (waaayy in the future)

ok yeah haha XD our ice rink sadly hasn't opened yet T.T but I'm curious to see how it's going to be this year, because previously I saw every boy quitting even before reaching the age of 10, which was really sad because some of them were super talented, and to quit for gender reasons is really the worst :C which is why I'm happy yuri on ice is also representing a more masculine side of figure skating - in some competitors at least xD I think it's so beautiful in any gender really
