Description Constantly in a cheery mood, Bloom is a young Burmy from a family of Merchants in Mossy village. He enjoys drawing, painting and Sitrus Berries.

Originally leaving his loving family behind to become a Merchant in Tao, he ended up 'accidentally' eating all of Ishvara the Sandshrew's Sitrus berries that she had packed as rations on her own journey to Tao as she napped nearby. Ish later awakened to find a deliriously happy and asleep Bloom in her rations pack.

Owing the Sandshrew a debt, Bloom joined her Rescuer's team begrudgingly. On their journey to Tao the initial hostility Ishvara showed him wore down, as it's kind of hard to stay mad at the constantly chipper Burmy, and they began to enjoy each other's company. The two had a few weeks to help out around Tao, and get to know each other deeper before Bloom disappeared into the past, leaving Ish alone in the present.

Bloom seems incapable of becoming angry, and seems rather deaf to anyone's annoyance with him. Always cheery and always trying to be helpful, the Rescuers has turned out to be a better fit for him than the Merchants, although he still dreams of owning a Sitrus Berry orchard and settling down in a quiet village someday.

--------

A redesign of Bloom, who's loosely based on myself. Started using colored Pencils more than watercolors for my PMD-E work, as it relieves a lot of stress from the process.

Thanks for reading, or just looking! <3

Very nice! Although the hat he had before was wonderfully designed, I think this new design gives a fresh, youthful look about him. I find it fitting since Bloom’s just beginning his adventures, and has a lack of experience. I love the long stem coming from Bloom’s head. Is that a ponytail I see in the back? I also adore his big eyes and how his little feet protrude from the cloak. I always wondered how to make a Burmy mobile, so thanks a ton for answering that!

Can’t wait to see Bloom in action. Now if you’ll excuse me, I need to go find my notebook so I can draw him.

AHHH THANK YOU. Yes, yes, I wanted it to be a more open-eyed obviously enthusiastic design. As much as I loved his leaf-cap, I thought it made him look too hooded. Heehee! Burmies have that strange twisty-head, so that's what is in the back. : D

I know I knoooowwww, I can't wait for him to be back in the present so he can DO things, preferably with other fantastic characters like the Anchorfeet. ; )

AHHHHH NOOOOO DYING OF JOYYYYYAH. ; 3 ; Thank you!
