“I guess here’s as good a place to start as any.” Pinstripe sighed, tipping his head back in reflection. He remembered all too clearly being given loose-fitting work clothes - boots, stiff overalls, a rough homespun shirt and fingerless work gloves and being carted off in an old beat-up looking cop car to the middle of nowhere. His wombat parole officer, a surly faced fellow, had made it very clear if he screwed things up or stepped one toe out of line that he’d be back behind bars quicker than you could say “Waltzing Matilda.”
