I just saw this movie for the first time in my life...I dont know how I went 27 years without it.
I always knew it existed, I feel like I had always known it. And I even collect the comic, and have met Peter S Beagle...
But wow, what a beautiful movie.
I humbly present this painting in honor of the Lady Amalthea, and to all the Unicorns hiding in plain sight today.

it gets a more soft, painterly approach ^^
as an inker i can't handle working with no lines - i blame coloring books and my mother! ;3
i am tinting them now, though!
