Recently, I've visited a local pond which I used to go to when I was young, and it was just the other weekend when we noticed two sets of ducklings.. these are the older set, the others were much younger.There was also a young moorhen and coot babies too!

In a way they are, yeah.
People come down sometimes and feed them so they are slightly tame but mum's still very protective of them all when we or other ducks come a bit too close
