Another taken at Eastern State Penitentiary, this one has a different feel because of the lighting. We were told the excessive skylights in the older halls were originally designed to give it an airy, light, positive, and kind of enlightened atmosphere, to help inmates focus on penitence. I forget if this one was one of the halls but the picture certainly made it turn out that way.
