It looks like a Chinese ink painting where all the strokes are made with only one movement of the brush (no mistakes allowed - lots of wasted paper!). It's very difficult to make those strokes with western brushes - they tend to be too stiff and not pliable enough.

this is so breathtaking. why? its forms are clear and the colors are just so very right. it has this swift feel to it. it must have been a lot of fun painting those lines and moving the brush so clearly set, powerful and clearly.

graet style. I love the dynamic of the balck part, contrasting to the stillness the white creates with the horizontal flow. the pink stands out lovely and gives the whole painting a different tough. the same about the red at the top and bottom.
I usually don't like too much abstraction, but this is beautiful!!

Superb piece, and I am not quite sure on your exact method, but I believe you painted a background, and then meticously painted the lines and folded the paper in half to get a reflection essence, no?
Amazing work, and the shading of the dark purples and lavenders is enquisite !
