Reign of the Force

Trained as a scavenger by the Teeks and her father, Korana gathered enough money to buy a scavenger droid to assist her but she ended up buying a Twi'lek slave. Twi'leks aren't common in that region of space but she had seen and heard stories about them. The two became friends over time but she still gets treated as her master. In one of their salvaging operations they ran into another slave trading convoy, they followed it and learned about the Galactic Empire's Hyper Gate. Up until now the Galactic Empire had been unable to go beyond the farthest places of the Outer Rim but that gate was about to change all that. Her intent was to free those slaves but in turn she saw it was a no win situation , that is until a small group of warriors from the Bakura system started attacking.

Korana's lightsaber.

She found her lightsaber in one of her salvaging missions. While she doesn't possess force powers she had been trained in combat using her father's vibroblade. She now has it as a memento on her ship. Due to that training she can handle the lightsaber well against regular opponents, but she isn't attuned with the Force enough to depend on it, instead she uses her blaster. She has impersonated a Jedi and even a Sith in order to get out of a jam due to the fear they seem to inflict over people.
