The finished piece! I really love how it turned out, even tho most of the time I had NO idea wtf I was doing

The knob is supposed to be two wolf heads, facing away from eachother, I wanted to make simple eyes to them, so I made sort-of kitsune-ish looking eyes to them.

I used American Walnut wood for this, a normal file to round up the handle, a normal art knife to give the piece most of it's forms; ears, muzzle and underneath the muzzle. I finished it off by sanding it with some higher grain sandapapers, 340 (I think) and 800.

The knob was coated with 8 layers of Chinese Tree Oil, which gave the Walnut a really beautyful and rich colour, as well as making it feel soft and smooth to the touch.
