As Faunus morphed into Agent James Smith, he strolled round the strange object that looked suspiciously like a weird, abandoned elevator... and then came face to face with Agent John Lewis - a real CIA Agent.
Ethan, clutching Teddy tightly, slumped back onto one of the nicely upholstered chairs, wondering what might happen next.
There was a short moment of confusion as Lewis tried to come to terms with the large, futuristic object situated in the centre of a far from futuristic room, as well as an individual that he was sure that he had met before, but who was showing him a NSA Identity tag with Presidential authority.
So this new individual - an apparently accredited member of the 'United States Intelligence Community', was an NSA Agent, and therefore an individual who almost certainly outranked him.
"So you are on this case also ?", Lewis asked, somewhat lamely.
"Oh yes... for some considerable time.
I would have thought you would have been informed.", Agent Smith replied.
