Introducing Mega forms of Ho-oh and LugiaInfo coming soon...
I pick ϒ & χ as the name for my fake remake version ϒGold & χSilver.
- As we know, Ho-oh is symbolised for Heart, while Lugia's is Soul. Likewise, the letter ϒ (Upsilon) is known as Pythagoras' letter, or the Samian letter, because Pythagoras used it as an emblem of the path of virtue or vice.
"For they say that the course of human life resembles the letter Y, because every one of men, when he has reached the threshold of early youth, and has arrived at the place "where the way divides itself into two parts," is in doubt, and hesitates, and does not know to which side he should rather turn himself."
It's what a heart (mind according to old people) controls.
- Lugia stands for the soul, while the letter χ is explained that the two bands that form the soul of the world cross each other like the letter Χ.

Not only are the designs for the Mega's completely awesome, I love the amount of thought that went into the names of the game's versions. It really shows continuity with the Generation 6 X and Y games, which introduced mega evolution.
