Having lived in ~2000 sq ft houses all my life, I have quite a difficult time fathoming such a lifestyle...

I have had a look at its price lately again, now its rental has reached USD1100 for 400ft!

Hah! In my hometown, that price will get you a 1400 square foot townhouse in a nice area. We have a mere 40% of Hong Kong's average per capita income, though, so I guess it works out...

i can only try to imagine how tough it must be to live in a neighborhood of this sort, but the angle & composition of the photograph is really impressive... and no doubt it does fully capture and portray the claustrophobic nature of the surroundings...
