This is absolutely stunning and lovely. You are extraordinary, my friend. I love not only the painting itself, but the symbolism. I wish to see this more, but alas it is not so. Well, good things come in rarity, yes?
But wings... I would have never even thought about angels and swan wings.

The oil painting you did always to me encompass exactly what you said. And true, art really needs to be more expression and message than the 'just for the sake of looking good' fad that it's become. Well, I wouldn't mind making beautiful art just to get some views, but somewhere along the line you've got to have something unique to your work to make it stand out, and to be honest at the very least.

This piece as well as "What It Takes To Fly" are two of my favorite pieces from you, for several reasons. I love this piece because, as you said, it shows the selfishness of people. It shows what it takes and what happens when people try to do things they were never meant to do. It shows the terrible sacrifices some people make on their "road to success". It really calls out the flaws in humanity. Just the same, "What It Takes To Fly" shows not just how hard it is to succeed, but how painful it can be. I am a college student paying for all my own expenses and it feels like I'm being torn in all different directions, all directions I supposedly should go in order to succeed. I think these two pieces compliment each other in that the girl in "Stolen Wings" chose this for herself, while the girl in "What It Takes To Fly" seems to have been forced into the situation. Both are terrible, both are life.
P.S. Also, did you intentionally do 3 pairs of wings so that the "Angel" being represented is a Seraphim, one of the highest classes of angels, or was that a coincidence?

I like this a lot!
I think it kinda shows how we can get misled, especially because of a first impression.
And it does that by being misleading in itself:
At a first glance the girl is an angel, she's young and pretty and the colors and the settings play a cool part here - the skys are white, which even more conforms us that she lives in heaven of sorts. The red color seems as if actually hinting of love or desire, the swans are swimming in a river it seems.
But when you look at what she's doing you realize where she got her wings from,
and the whole picture becomes terrifying and very unsetteling. The river is a river of blood, the swans aren't swimming they're dead.
After you finish inspecting the the image, the girl ends up looking quite the opposite - some sort of selfish, scary mutant.
Now it seems like hell.
There is some vegan undertone as well but I don't know about this all that much.
Overall I like this very much!

If this girl has already stolen this cygnus wings, then why is she strangling it? Or is she doing something else?

Your art inspired me a lot, they are very meaningful and filled with something... special. It's hard for me to describe that feeling though. Since the begining, when my first seeing your art, it was a miracle to my life, when the time that I feel most desprerate, it's like a rainbow glowing across my field of darkness. Anyway, your art is amazing, I never getting tired of watching it over and over, each of them has different message and make me want to start taking action and stop with the sitting and just judge about the goverment. I love your work, keep doing what your are doing and never give up! Love

Honestly, your art is of a quality that museums should have rooms filled with your pieces, with your permission of course.
I remember the original, and the controversy that came from it being subsequently stolen.
I am so glad that you didn't let that experience discourage you.
You are truly talented, and the messages you convey are important and true.
Thank you for all that you do.

I love the environmental aspect of your art. I'm currently reading This Changes Everything by Naomi Klein and I'm realizing how completely wrong everything in our system and culture is. Knowing what I know now, it's difficult for me to believe in a cleaner and better tomorrow, but we must not stop dreaming, eh? However, I wish I could do something else but dream, I just quite don't know what.

I think what inspires me most about your work, is that you convey a message while still making your art look absolutely stunning.
I believe that, because of the aesthetic beauty of your work, the message you try to convey really slaps us in the face.
I'm certain we are all well aware of this fact, but I would still like to point it out. :')
