Okay. This has been such a long time coming. I think I drew it in December '12 (hence the dated signature) I had a lot of other work come on suddenly and this sadly took the back burner. Finally, finally complete! I can see all sorts of error in the sketch now but hey, that's what happens when you leave something and carry on to learn new things.This is not exactly a shipping... I just really liked the dynamics between these two. I like the Darkury arc on the whole and I'm a huge fan of Akira's cheekbones, haha.
I'm sorry for his missing foot. Mercury's costume was a little bit touch and go with all that crinoline too. But all in all I'm happy with how their features came out and that was the important part.

While she is kneeling I didn't mean for her pose to come across as though she were prostrating before Kunzite. I imagined it to be as though he were introducing her and she is poised like a viper waiting to strike.
