His eyes (well, eye, I suppose) were fun to draw! Colored pencil is useful for drawing on top of a darker color.

You will have to watch some others, Mirai Nikki, (if you like gore, and abit of cusswords.... and some weird scenes, its animated, luckily) Death Note (This one is a Netflix fan favorite. The mysteries and such are so interesting.) and maybe Cowboy Bebop (Not that gorey, interesting backstory, and I tell you, its a really good anime.)

I recommend you to watch Spice&Wolf, Angel Beats, Cowboy Bebop, Ghost Stories dub, Higurashi No naku Koro Ni, Little Witch Academia and Bakemonogatari.

I have watched CB, And LWA. I have to find a dubbed Monogatari series, and I'd like to watch Angel Beats. Cowboy Bebop is really good one, the styles vary so much too! Spice and Wolf is one I kinda watched, but I didn't watch much of it. LWA, I have watched season one but still finishing 2.
