I must say, i was kind of on the edge when it came to starter choice but more recently it has started to shift from Chespin to Fennekin for some reasons. (Says the one who has selected Grass in all gens)

I always thought it was kinda strange that some people always chose the same type for their starter each gen.. prolly because I've never done that. I mean commonly I love fire-type Pokemon, but I always choose my starter based on how they look. xD

To be onest with you the feature that i got biggest hopes isPokemon Amie, ever since pokemon cameout they repeat same mantra about strong bond between you and your pokemon.
However in every Pokemon game (excluding HG and SS) i always got feeling that my pokemons are more of pawns insted partners, they always lacked proper interaction between your trainer and members of your party.
Thats wchy i liked Heart gold so much, i catched myself that every few steps i turned around to check how my eevee is doing XD

Yeah, I really love the Amie idea. Ever since Nintendogs came out, I've been hoping for the idea that we'd be able to pet our Pokemon like that.
-and since gen 3 I'd been wanting rideable Pokemon, hot dang.
It'll feel so much more like bonding. nvn
I mean I didnt feel exactly like you say you did, since i'd draw my trainer and Pokemon bonding and such.. xD but with their slow enhancements ive felt more and more attached to my Pokemon.. like Amity Square in DPPt, the backsprites moving in Platinum, the ball capsules in the gen 4 games.. HGSS with the Pokemon following you, and even the pokemon contests in gen 3 and 4 aswell as pokeathalon. tbh I think BW and BW2 were a little lacking in that department, but yeah Amie is like.. the finale in terms of bonding with your Pokemon holy butts! I think it was worth the wait. because theyre doing it now and its not gunna be some shitty-ass attempt at it, theyre using 3d models with cute lil reactions and all that shiznit.

Yes i hope that pokemon Behavior in Amie would reflect their personality or at least their reactions wont be too repetitive. As for the game itself i will wait for third release, ever since pokemon Crystall i do that since for me there is no sence to buy game that later would have an update that is like bridge between two releases, The only exception so far is Black2 and White2.
Those took me from surprise.

uhhh I wouldn't bother waiting if i were you. Gamefreak/Masuda has kind of like.. implied theyre not interested in making "third versions" anymore.
I mean if they for some reason do, whats the big issue its just an extra 40$ xD; and theyre a year or 2 apart always so it's not like theyre really expensive, I mean I buy all versions that come out and I dont make buttloads of money.

However sad fact is that i never beated Elite four (not to mention champion) in first two Generation's
And to this day idont know how on earth in pokemon Gold i menaged to reach elite four using onlyΒ Typlosion (yes i catched other pokemon but ony for using Cut Surf and other moves but i never trained them XP, (as far as i went was loga but that's it he always defeated me)
And the most funny fuct, despite i played in pokemon for so long i discovered Pokerus about month ago XDD

Playing the prequel then the sequel was rly cool for me.
lmao, I never beat them on my own in the beginning either, my dad used to help me. the first game I beat the elite four in on my own was Sapphire, so it has a special spot for me :3 I replay my games a lot though, so ive beat the elite four multiple times in all of them, and thats also why I get all the version available, so that I can for example; replay white 2 numerous times, and trade the Pokemon over to Black 2 so I dont lose them, then start over white 2 again. Thats just how I roll. xD
omg xDDD I got pokerus way back in sapphire and I've kept it on my Pokemon since then, so now my Pokemon in Black 2 have it as well. xD

Well you are right, i bet you got similair feeling while you played at first time in Generation II and you went to Kanto 
You are right, i dont know its me or Generation III Champion is quite easy to defeat (At least worked On Wllance for me <:3 i never beat steven thoughr, and i dont know how you But Battle frontier quickly became booring for me).
Yet Cynthia was one hell of a champion, i think i beat her at 7 try.
And to be onest im now playing again in White 2, but this times i aim to make my team enteirely from eeveeevolution's, i always wanted to do that yet onestly iwasnt patient enought with breeding in previous games.
And you are one lucky girl, in all games i palyed (ALL) i never even got shiny Pokemon (excluding Red gayarados from Gen II but he is part of the storry so i dont count him) not to mention catching pokemon with Pokerus.

Steven was harder. I dont really like to think of Wallace as the Hoenn champ since it was steven first >:cΒ

I think the hardest Champion for me was and still is Lance. He's just a pain. Alder and Iris are really easy though, and Cynthia can be kinda tough sometimes depending on my team.
XD I get quite a few shinies, starting in pearl version and onwards, but it's usually only after I beat the game.

Still Gen III was fun to play and i think that its only generation wchere your protagonist got a father, (onestly do every mom in Pokemon is divorced or something??? )
Oh God Lance yeach in both first and second Gen he was a pain >~< i found him harder to defeat that Champion Blue, and in Johto his dragonite's (i think he got 3 of them) almost trashed my entire team, i actually won by luck since i used foul play and his attack stat turend against him XD. Howeever i never defeated Red, i must admitt with a shame that wchen i reached kanto region battling on and on started to get preatty boring with time. And i think i quit playing in it wchen i was about to fight with Blaine.
Btw you mentioned that you really like the design of Fennekin Evolution... Braixen isint it? Well i got something cute for you in that way ?

Yeah I agree I got kinda bored with kanto in HGSS too but, I did manage to battle and beat Red.
I love to win with a good strategy, I ended up beating Lance by literally continuously switching between my Typhlosion, Raikou and Crobat vs each of his Dragonites. XD I mostly won via using Attract! <3 one of my favorite moves.

Ahh so you got more tacticall approach, i usually use brute force with type effectivnes, i mainly Rely on one Hit KO's .
Yet this also got his achilles heel, also my most disliked type is Dragon, they are really hard to defeat, (mostly because i almost neer got any ice type with me)
Speaking about types, could you tell me what kind of Pokemon types you almost always catch in every pokemon game?
For my main theme i always got: Fire, Water, Electric, Grass, Psychic, (last one varries between Dark, Flying and Ground)

Yeah, I do usually stick to like, 1-KOs with strong moves, but if I know im going to have a tough opponent (which is every game before i beat it since the elite four) I usually teach my Pokemon tactical moves like that.
lmao I dont mind dragons but Im not rly fond of how overkill they are, fairys gunna be really nice i think.
Well I dont really aim for specific types all the time, I mostly pick my Pokemon based on looks, but I always have a fire type and an electric type, they're my favorite types. -oh and a water type too because of surf. I'd say I also always get flying types because of hm fly, but that's not true because I used Hydreigon and Flygon as my flyers in black and Black 2 and theyre not part flying type. xD;

She gave me on hell of a battle, i captured female pokemon especailly to fight her's XD
And yeach fly is verry usefull move yet i rarely capture flying type (the exception is wingull since it was also water type so it was verry convinient for me X3)
I mostly rely on Psychic Type Teleport, eacht time wchen i got on journey and my Team is tired i use it to quickly go back to Center without going the same way both time's.

I have to agree on Lance. I do admit Steven was tricky to battle (I did not expect he would use fossils in the mix), but wasn't too much. Cynthia's Spiritomb and Garchomp are the ones who gave me too much trouble, and Wallace was kinda easy to exploit. I do give Alder and Iris a pass for how epic their music is, but Lance is by far a nightmare. Lance is likely the only champion to have nearly defeated me (note: Blizzard was the only ice move I could exploit against Lance, which... yeah) by count of how much punishment his mons could take. Granted, I *should* have used saner tactics, but where is the fun in that?
And then there is the Champions PWT... ;_;
This makes me hope the Kalos Champion is made of awesome both in team and music. I want to defy common sense once more like I did with Lance! Yes, my tactics against him at the time were a bit off-the-wall.

It took me awhile to beat Champions (ironically, the Skill Link Cinccino I got in the game is what allowed me to beat them). Red and Lance were the worst given how the former's Blastoise somehow always lands with Blizzard and Lance's Dragonite has a Focus Sash (read: it will murder whatever I use), and that's before that demon Haxorus shows up. On the upside, Champions doesn't cheat as much compared to World Leaders.
Speaking of awesome theme music, I still have one more mon to prepare for my "sendoff project" for Gen V on Oct 11 (beat Hugh, N, E4, and Iris on Challenge mode on that day as a "blaze of glory"). Got any good name ideas for a Timid Crobat (named her Yutaka from Lucky Star for now)? Yeah, weird topic change.
*Still hoping the customization includes a Honedge-colored scarf* But yeah, Lance is a pain. He does Hyper Beam Rocket Grunts, after all.
