I've just delivered this design.In October, Brazilians celebrate our patron saint day. A small statue of Our Lady Aparecida was found - actually Aparecida means Appeared - by fishermen in this month in 1717.
I made some embroidery work in her coat, inspired by the work of nuns that change her coat every year for traditional festivities.
