Description Gallows
This is *RoyalPain13 's very nifty boy, Gallows, and my half of our art trade.

Yes, he has 6 legs. But he's pretty darn cool. I hope I've done him some justice.

He's not a bloodthirsty killer, but he occasionally does take opportunities to open up somebodies flesh and have a look at what's going on inside. He lacks social skills, and is very aware of the reality of the world; and is suitingly emotionless to most going-ons.



I won't lie... he was a lot of work. I didn't count the hours, but they were plenty. Saying that, it was loads and loads of fun and gave me some more much needed experience.

I despise the mane. I painted it 3 times and virtually gave up. The tail I'm more comfortable with, but my apologies to RoyalPain for a few slight color-tone imperfections. I more just went with the flow, and I probably should have taken more notice in the teeny details.



I'd like you all to know that I am taken away by every view, comment and favourite. I appreciate every second you took looking at my work, and going the extra mile for comments. It really does mean a heck load to me. I'm soft... but really- thanks so, so much!

Not quite as many legs as Sleipnir. So if it has six legs does that technically make him an insect? Are centaurs insects? Hmm... Anyway really cool.

Thankyou so, so much! He really is a fantastic character, and I'm very glad you think I've done him some justice. I had an absolute ball making this, so hopfuly it's not the last time.

I can guarantee you it won't be. Roy's still gushing about it over skype (and why wouldn't she??). I wish I could conjure up some manipulation skills to offer a trade with you; I'm still insanely in love with this image and it's not even my character. XD

Aww, thanks again. You can always send me a note with a character or something- I don't have anything lined up at the moment so if I get some time, I'll happily do a request. I really need all the practise I can get.

Ahhh, yay! You've put a smile on my face. There were a couple of imperfections in his markings which I meant to fix but didn't get around to doing- but I did do my best to get him as close as possible.

I can't really agree that's it's better than yours, but I'm super pleased you're happy with him!

Aww, I wouldn't object to another Gallows' picture sometime. He's a very nifty boy and super fun to bring to life! Ohhh, your desktop? I feel honoured!

It's alright about his markings I messed around with them myself and didn't _quite_ make them perfect when I was drawing him the other day. I must say I quite prefer the version you made much prettier ^-^


I'll get your half done up soon ^-^ I'm working on the horse today and hunting for a background suitable for it now.

I saw no mistakes XD but I know how you feel, I'll look at my pictures and find all these little flaws that bug me for the rest of eternity but everyone else says they're amazing XD it confuses me. And you did amazing!! ^^ me and Trynxie were freaking out over it we always do when you put a picture up XD trynxie will message me saying "HAVE YOU SEEN YUMPY'S NEW IMAGE ITS SO AWESOME" and I'll say "I KNOW ISNT IT" and we go on and on XD we kind of in love with your manipulations

This is a really nice peice. From what you describe with his personality; i think you did amazingly to illustrate that into his background. A nice dark emotion and him being by himself. This is once again, really well done.
