I wish they'd use artists like yourself as inspiration to make more films about the merfolk. Well done, this art really captures the feel of many of my dreams. I love the dark scales, the wet feel, the gills applied and pose.

This is incredible! Most of the time I have trouble liking mermaids art because....lets face it people mess up, but this this is PERFECT!! Love the design of this mermaid, I really do love it. It is simple and as realistic as it can get. Love the gills in her body, again as realistic as it can be, and that fin is beautiful. The scales in her lower body are beautiful, love the fact that you did gave it that shiny light that scales have on fish, it makes it more alive. this illustration does give this sad feeling because the mermaid got caught in the fishing net but it is a magical art work, truly. Also the anatomy is beautifully executed. Great job! ^w^
