Adelmar a dangerous compilation of traits and abilitities...
A 4th child, to a lowly, and extremely unremarkeble noble family from... some shithole or other... can't even find it on the damn map. He recieved no great riches at his birth, nor did nature gift him an imposing stature. What he did recieve however, was great sword training, and an insufferable need to upkeep his personal honor and that of his house [read- read to many damn chivalric stories- Commanding Officer's note]. Eager to prove himself, and insecure about his stature, and all to willing to resort to fist and swordfighting, against any chellange of his status.
Almost like a smal, angry chiwawa... though you shouldn't say that to his face, if you want to keep yours intact.

Bernard has been working on a farm since childhood "people will always have to eat" he was told "you will always find job in this business" . Untill it got bought up, and he was fired. He moved to a city, to work in a clothing factory "a new business, part of the , The factory has gone bankrupt, a month after he started work. On the streets, recruituiter told him, that the thing that never goes out of business is war. He sounded condifent enough...
He gets ordered to do chores around all day, he sleeps under the sky, and ocasionaly an important person yells at him... he feels like at home.
His comrades in arms coersed him into carrying extra equipment for them, but they sometimes share some of their rations with him, so he's ok. with it.
