My aunt wanted a few pictures of the bluebells as she is not able to get out as much to see them. I missed the best bloom by a week or so but no worries.

Garvagh forest is a plantation forest and is made up of non native beech trees. The under canopy is fairly open resulting in better carpets of bluebells compared to native woodland which tend to be darker and have dense undergrowths. I didn't get the shot I was really after.

RAW is very useful for shooting in woodlands.

It's also great that you put the Google Street View location so we can travel to Ireland close to being there live.

Yippie! I'm never fed up with bluebells pictures! Thank you for having sent the good quality file so I can put it as a nice background paper.

It's really helped me in certain lighting conditions.

I will try it out, too.

By the way, the other day I noticed that my D90 does not do what it says it would do when I set it to shoot in RAW and JPG at once. Then if only gives me two JPGs of the chosen JPG quality. Do you have any experiences with that? Thanks.

Really?

Do you have a program that can read and convert NEF(RAW) files?

Yes, if I shot a single RAW (NEF) file, I can open it with CS3 here. That works. But not if I want the camera do both.
