My alligator character Sean holding a giant beach ball as if he were Atlas holding the earth.

This piece started as an exercise in choosing color palettes. I feel I have been weak with color palettes in the past, especially with Sean's bold blues and oranges not cooperating with the rest of the picture. The reason I chose to have him holding a beach ball was that I knew it would provide even more bold colors that would have to be carefully incorporated into the palette.
