Always wanted to make more art about one of my favorite game Shadow of the Colossus so here it is!-I know we don't have Agro during the first fight but hey I wanted to put it anyway!-

To think that there is still people doing fanart of the game makes me happy.
One of my few complains about the game is that there isn´t a fight with Agro against a humanoid colossus.Also, I know there is an unused bird colossus that you fought with Agro and a boar-like one too and it makes me depressed that they never reached the final version. Because Basaran and Dirge are the only ones you fight with Agro that give the sensation of danger.

Thanks glad you enjoy this! I've been drawn back to SotC recently and since my art skills increased by the time, I finally got myself doing more art for it since I love that game so much!

Fun thing, I just read an article about those unused colossus a couple days ago, and yeah the bird and boar-type one sounded really interesting! if only they made it to the final version though.
I can't believe at the beginning Ueda planned 46 colossus in the game to finally cut it to 24 and finally to the actual 16 we get in the game , personally I would'nt mind having at least 24 to defeat ahah.

The hype for those unused colossus was so big years ago that I lost count on how much nonsense I read about theories, cheats and how to find the "secret colossus"
You won´t believe how many fake videos I saw on Youtube about Sotc 2 with image montages and unused colossus years ago. The unused "bird" colossus was a giant myth in the brazilian community(yes I am from Brazil). We called it the Black Bird and there were reasonable theories and crazy ones. I believed in his existence for some time and even gathered a group of players to search in different areas...Well, there goes hours of my life XD
I guess Sotc 2 with unused colossus is like a Half Life 3 after all.
Speraking of which, I was disapointed that there wasn´t any new colossus in the remastered version

I didn't know it was such a big thing over there!
But I guess sotc is a game favourable for theories of all kind, since it has this mysterious vibe about it, and of course the openworld aspect helps!
I myself spent quiet lots of hours just exploring the landscapes for the beauty of it.
Too bad those unused colossus will remained lost, but I suppose it would have been too much work for just a remastered version
At least we'll finally get The Last Guardian and I admit that I can't wait to play it so we can finally put the whole story together, and maybe get answers to some of the mysteries of this series!

SOTC is one of the best games i have ever played. And you sir, made a very good piece of art about it! I love that agro is in the scene even tough we cant use him in the first fight (just like you said)

Couldn't agree more, this game is really awesome , can't wait for team Ico to finally release the Last Guardian to close this wonderful trilogy!
