Description This tutorial is assuming those of you who take this tutorial, will be familiar with its short keys and in general the way it works.

I've never used GIMP, so I am usure of the tools you can use within it, but if you can see a pointers you can apply to the program, I'm sure you could use it in GIMP

its photoshop CS! so it should work with most other photoshop programs!

ahh, cool! lol -sadly, corel isnt that simple to work round oh well!!! Ill see it theres a way of adapting this method for it 0.o

Do you have any anatomy tips? I don't think mines quite as good as it could be..

I think I trip up mainly on legs and face/eyes

I never thought to use the levels thingy. If/when I use the greyscale technique I do the same as you up until the levels bit. I use the brush set to Color, or sometimes some of the other modes to lighten and darken. And my way of making socks when I work this way is stupidly longwinded I make a copy of the original body layer, turn the whole thing into a white coat, then erase the bits I don't want...
