The light exposure on the left almost appears to be a self-aware blight, slowly advancing and destroying the picture, like the very insidious forces which have slowly erased the simpler times of which this reminds me. I had a whole roll of 35mm in my Instamatic catch "fire" like that once.... Even without it this photo is a very moving piece. Good work.
