I know that there are a lot of Ruby reader inserts out there, but I decided to my rendition of the insert instead. Hope you guys enjoy!!^_^

It was another day at Beacon Academy and as usual, Professor Port is telling his whole class about one of his adventures when he was young. You were amongst the class that were not that enthusiastic about Port's stories and you've been listening to this for hours.

Jackson: I thought we're supposed to learn, not listen to stories.

You: Just role with it man. Besides, class should be over right about....

"School bell rings"

You: Now.

Jackson: Finally, freedom. "The two of you stand up and exit the room"

After that, you and your partner, Jackson, went to your dorms to change to your usual attire.

Back in your dorm....

Jackson: Sure you don't wanna go man? It's a really cool party.

You: You know I'm not that much of a party animal Jackson.

Jackson: So what? You can just come anyway. Besides, there might be a lot of cute girls there.

You: "You sweatdrop" Dude, you need some serious counseling about girls.

Jackson: "You stand up and you get your backpack" Where are you going?

You: Going out to buy supplies. "You open the door" Good luck with your party though.

Jackson: I already got the luck I need. "You close the door behind"

Later that day, you went to the streets of Vale to buy supplies that were for school and yourselves. Sometimes, going out and walking around is one of the ways you'd past the time. After buying everything you needed, you went to a famous bakery shop and bought some snacks to munch on before going back to the academy.

Ruby: Oh come on, please?

You: Huh? "You turn your head towards the bakery shop"

Guard: Sorry miss, but rules are rules, you can't bring your pet dog inside.

Ruby: Awwwwww.

Yang: "Puts her hand on Ruby's shoulder" Don't worry Ruby, me and the others will buy something for you once were done okay?

Ruby: "Looks at her with a sad face" Okay.

After that, Ruby and her dog Zwei went to the bench your sitting on while her sister and the rest of her team went inside the bakery.

"Ruby sits down"

Ruby: I really wanted to try their famous cookies, but I guess that moment will have to wait another time.

You: "You look at your bag of cookies and then to Ruby" Hey.

Ruby: "You get her attention" Hm?

You: "You pass your bag of treats to her" Want some?

Ruby: U-Um.

You: It's okay, there's plenty to go around anyway.

Ruby: "Reaches in and gets a cookie" Thank you.

You: No problem. "Ruby takes a bite of her cookie"

Zwei: "Looks at you and comes to your lap" Bark!! Bark!!

You: Woah, hey there little fella. "You pet him and then look to Ruby" Is this your dog?

Ruby: "You get her attention" Yep, his name is Zwei.

You: Nice to meet you Zwei.

Zwei: Bark!! "You pet him again"

Without noticing, Ruby's sister, Yang, and the rest of her team have just got out of the bakery and saw you and the young red head together sitting on the same bench.

Blake: What's Ruby doing with a boy?

Yang: I don't know, but we're about to find out.

(Back to you and Ruby....)

You: Here. "You give her your bag of treats" You can have it.

Ruby: What? No, I can't do that, that's yours.

You: It's alright, I want you to have it.

Ruby: W-wow. "She gets the bag from you" Nobody has every done this for me before.

You: Well, consider this your first. "You stand up and look at her" I'm (First Name) (Last Name).

Ruby: Ruby Rose, nice to meet you. "You two shake hands"

You: Well, best I head back to the academy, got a lot of work to do.

Ruby: Wait!! ""She gets your attention" By academy do you mean, Beacon Academy?

You: Yes. Why? Are you attending that school too?

Ruby: Yeah!!

You: Then I guess I'll see you in class sometime. "You turn around and start to walk while waving back at her" It was great meeting you Ruby.

Ruby: You too!! "Waves back at you too"

Once you were no longer in sight, Ruby went to the bakery to regroup with her sister and friends.

Ruby: Yang? Where are you guys? "She looks around and finds her sister and friends behind the bakery's alley wall" Uh, what are you doing?

Yang: Nothing.
