My friend wants a thoroughbred/shire cross, or one of the heavy drafts mixed with a thoroughbred.

gelding or stallion. I'm gonna guess that if he's allowed in with a herd, he's gelded. The stud at the barn Iw ork with spends 99% of the time in his stall because he gets os excited when he's with other horses.
