It's nobody's fault, really. He didn't choose to be ill. Because if he wasn't. It might not have happened. However, Masamune probably would've left anyways.

So either way, Masamune would leave to the World Championships, and Zeo would get the wrong idea. But he wouldn't have to worry about Toby's treatment

The outcome would probably be the same but altered slightly
