Description We're Not Gonna Take It - Twisted Sisters

The wind whips around Jerran's fae, his lighcycle humming as he drives it. He revs the engine more to get ahead of the remaining opponents. As you can probably guess, Jerran is doing pretty well. The lightcycle just feels like an attachment to his being - he doesn't even really need to think about working the machine, it just goes. He has been avoiding the rays of the others' lightcycles in sleek and fluid motions, and he can guess about what they are muttering about as he cruises on by. Their rigidness is no match for his eerie calm. But, there is a definate reason as to why; how he has become so light and agile again after feeling so stiff with fear and not being able to 'go cat.'
His chest is still thundering, sending vibraions of sonar through ihm, his lips still tingling with the remnants of the kiss. In his ears echo what Axelia had said to him over and over again, three simple words that gave him so much power. Disney didn't do justice with the power of love in their movies, sure it was close, but not close enough. It's enough to keep him in the zone and impatient to get back to her and Gale.
"Jay?" Her voice almost sends him veering off to the right into a streak made by another player. He gasps and uprights himself, then tries to figure out where her voice came from, it takes two minutes to realize that it was from her earpiece.
"Ax?"
"Jay! How's it going?" She sounds brighter, happier than what she looked like before they kissed, but she looked worried when they parted. She doesn't need to worry, he'll be back soon.
"It's pretty good, kind of easy, even." Jerran takes a turn in a maze, he doesn't hear any other lightcycles nearby so takes another turn, "Anyway, what did you need to call me for?"
"Gale's up," Jerran almost hits the brakes in shock and relief, how could he?! Thank God, "we can make a plan to-"
She stops talking abruptly and Jerran frowns and keeps riding, waiting a little bit, the presses the button on his earpiece, "Ax?" He waits, then asks again, "Axelia?"
Suddenly Axelia's voice comes through, and she's screaming in a different language - obviously in Greek, and it doesn't sound all too friendly, Jerran smashes on his button again, "WHAT IS GOING ON OVER THERE!?"
Being so preoccupied with why his girlfriend sounds like she's in more trouble, someone smashes into Jerran from the side just enough to send him swerving a bit. He has to let go of the earpiece to regain control of the vehicle and turn to see who crashed into him purpousfully.
Zephyr smiles at him and Jerran's eyes narrow. Brilliant.

Derezzed - Daft Punk

Gale immediately had to block a hacking slice from a guard coming at him. He immediately went into a dormant "Three Musketeer" mode that has laid inside of him, and always comes to life when you put a weapon in his hands - which he learned when he first summoned his keyblade. He slashes and slices like there is no tommorrow, he is getting a slight advantage, but more and more of the guards are coming, and Gale can't see Axelia. But, he hears her screaming, so he guesses she's still around and slightly safe. He tries to figure out which way her screams are coming from, but all of the guards are making it hard to see. Their blades try to make contact with his skin, but he deflects it with his newfound strenghth, working the best he can.
"AXELIA?!" He calls out, and is shoved back into a headlock with another guard, he struggles and stomps on the man's foot, and with one 180 degree turn the man is now data cubes. A few guards back off at the sight of this, but many have a taste for blood on their minds. "BACK OFF! WHERE IS AXELIA?!"
"GALE!" Axelia's voice sounds far away, Gale slices through another guard, getting a few scratches and cuts here and there, but nothing too bad, and shoves past to try and get to Axelia.
Axelia is being dragged, her disc with the hooks sticking out of it swinging at anyone coming too close and the man dragging her. But, since he is pulling her backwards it isn't as affective. One of the men get in her blind spot and sucker punch her in the stomach. She almost drops her disc and gags, the punch servere and even though it should have caused her to throw up, it didn't because her stomach, like Gale and Jerran's, are empty. Their adrenaline is running low, and without that type of energy, they won't be able to fight. Axelia's already starting to slow down, but Gale was refreshed by her magical glowing crystal. Axelia slags a bit, but she still struggles to break free.
"I'M COMING AX!" Gale knows Jerran would seriously kill him if anything happened to Axelia while he was watching her. Well, maybe not kill him but be seriously pissed. Her slashes another man to bits and looks up just in time to see Axelia hit the man hard enough with her disc to break free and be in a sea of data bits. She looks at Gale with a grin and starts over.
That's when they first spot the helicopter, or whatever the hell it is. It is a smaller jet, completely chrome black, no surprise. The plate of ground that Axelia is on starts to rise up like a pillar off of the ground, reaching towards the opening hull of the air machine. She screams and looks as if she's going to jump, but then metal chords whip out of the opened hull and wrap around her torso, left wrist and right leg. They go taut as she struggles against them, and she looks out at the arena she knows Jerran is in, and then at Gale.
"I'M STILL COMING-" And that's when Gale is blown back off of his feet by a lazer emitted from the aircraft and at him. He tumbles backwards off of a ledge just in time to see Axelia get yanked backwards into the craft, it slamming shut.

Good Riddance - Green Day

"What do you mean, the police questioned you?!" Finn asks, jaw slacked and his face pallor from the news a fuming Maybeck has stormed over to his house with.
"You HEARD me!" Maybeck snaps back, pacing in front of the couch where Philby is sitting cross-legged, in his lap is his closed laptop on standby, just if they need it. "The Chief called me out of my HOUSE to ask if I knew anything about where any of them might be! ME! WHY THE HELL WOULD I KIDNAP MY GIRLFRIEND'S BEST FRIENDS-"
"Calm down, Maybeck." Charlene murmurs, and Finn's face doesn't compare to the paper white her's is. She then speaks to the entire group, "The police called my place last night; they aren't just interrogating Maybeck. It's all of us."
Willa nods in agreement, "Same happened with me and my parents, obviously they flipped a massive switch."
Finn wonders if that was the call where his mother told him to leave the house and he swore he could hear her shrill yelling coming from a block away. He gets slightly sick to his stomach from the very thought of it. Why would they have any part in the kidnapping of their good friends?! People just want to put blame on anyone these days.
"Listen," Finn pinches the bridge of his nose in aggravation, "I know this might seem bad, but they don't have anything to prove we did it. And first off, why pick us as suspects? Everyone knows we don't want to jeopardize our DHi status-"
"Maybe that's it." Philby states, "Maybe the OTs are trying to get us revoked from the server."
"That makes some sense, but not all." Willa points out, "Even if we weren't DHis, we'd still get there to try and stop this."
Everyone silently nods in agreement, and to Finn it feels odd to be a group of just five again. It seems so quiet and vulnerable; as Wayne probably figured, there is strength in numbers.
After a painfully awkward silence, Charlene speaks up, "I know this might seem bad but...did anyone notice who the only DHi not sucked into The Grid or with us right now is...?"
Nobody dares to say the name, but the air seems about 10x thicker with the thought of it alone. Penny was the only one not to be here or in The Grid. They really need to watch out for her, or something else terrible might happen. They all know how she betrayed them in previous endeavors, and they are sure she pretty much can't be trusted.
"Well, we need to find a way to contact them." Finn states, "If Wayne got a signal to us, we should be able to get a signal in."
All eyes turn to Philby, who grins at how well his friends know him, he opens his laptop, "I'm on it."
Finn nods and scratches his head, something else isn't settling right in his stomach. There is another silence, besides the clicking of Philby's keyboard as he gets to work. Finn stops scratching his head, runs his fingers through his hair and then ends on his neck and rubs it as he thinks. Then, suddenly it snaps into place.
"Guys," Finn staggers from his own realization, "If they could get four teenagers in the Grid...."
The other Keepers ' eyes grow wide in shock and horror, and Willa mutters, "Who else could that have sent in...?"
"Or can bring out." Maybeck gulps, tugging at one of his dreadlocks in nervousness, "But, that would only happen like in the movie, right?"
"Dunno," Finn sits on the couch next to his friends.
Philby stops typing and looks up, "I got a faint signal, it's gonna take sometime to connect, but it's there."
A relief washes over the five children like a sweet salty wave from their familiar shores. Maybeck slaps Philby so hard on the back that the boy jerks forward and almost drops his laptop, "At ta boy!"
As the relief numbs them, Finn let's himself zone out and it goes to the window. And he freezes. There is a girl with black choppy hair, and one visible silverish-green eye, since a bang covers the other, staring at him through the glass. He blinks and then sees his reflection, he jumps a foot in the air, because the window is too far to do a reflection like that. All of his friends start to attention, too.
"FINN?!" Charlene gasps.
"What's wrong?!"
"You okay, bro?!"
"..." The face in the window is gone, both faces, actually. Finn's hair on the back of his head stands straight up, goosebumps start to form on his skin. "I-I'm fine...I thought...I thought I saw something..."
"Well, what?"
"...Nothing, it was nothing."
Hopefully.

The Last Goodbye - David Cook

Jerran and Zephyr started to play bumper cycles as soon as they locked eyes. They try to send eachother crashing into the walls, trying to win over the other. Something horrible is going on, and he needs to get back to his team. All that Zephyr has been doing is getting in the way, and Jerran has had the very last of it.
Her swerves his bike into Zephyr's again, "LEAVE US ALONE!"
"You can't tell me what to do, User!" The Program hisses and collides right back, and Jerran comes to terms with the fact that the issues between them might run deeper than the young man had expected.
Suddenly, Jerran looks up and over to where he left Gale and Axelia. A pillar is rising out of the ground and there is someone ontop of it - and he can feel that person staring at him before it is dragged into the hull of a helicopter. His blood runs cold and he looks at a flash of red out of the corner of his eye - and there is Gale free-falling off of a ledge on the area, "SHIT!"
Completely forgetting his quarrel with Zephyr, Jerran speeds into action of getting there before Gale goes KERSPLAT. Ugh, just the thought makes him want to blow chunks. The thought of throwing up makes a pain in his hollow stomach stab through him like a knife, but he ignores it and speeds faster. He can hear Zephyr behind him and flips the bird back without looking in return, uncaring if Zephyr has any idea what it means or not.
Gale is losing altitude, and being born of the air he isn't as freaked out as any other guy would be. Even though he was built for the air and free-falling, it still looks like Gale isn't having fun plummeting to his death RIGHT after being healed up. Jerran revs the engine again and the cycle suddenly speeds up more than Jerran first suspected. The bike comes under Gale as he only has twenty more feet to go, when Jerran realizes that there is no way he's going to be able to catch Gale. Jerran is a stick while Gale is full of lean muscle, he should've thought this through more. Well, too late for that.
"Here, link my arms with yours."
Jerran's head whips so fast on his socket it almost cracks clean off, it's not Zephyr (although he is close behind) but an older woman. She has a short black pixie cut, startling blue eyes that are brimming with intelligence and in a suit with the same blue lighting as her eyes.
"What?"
The woman comes closer and grabs Jerran's wrists, "Not many cycles left for questions! Now use your hands to grab my wrists-"
"Is there anyway for me to be of assistance?" Zephyr runs over.
"No! Go-"
"Yes! Bigger surface area will cause less damage now hurry!" The woman gets Zephyr and it becomes a triangle, and Jerran tries not to convulse at touching Zephyr's hand. But, before he can spat any remark, Gale flies down and crashes into their arms. Jerran's knees almost buckle, but he holds himself together.
"Gah-! Thanks!" He looks at the woman, as Jerran helps him into a wobbly standing position, "Who are you?"
"I'm Quorra." The woman smiles, "They were right, I got to you just in time-"
"Nevermind that right now, sorry, but," Jerran turns Gale towards him, "Gale, where's Ax?!"
Gale's eyes suddenly go dark, his eyes go to the sky. Jerran and the other two look up and the Dodson boy's eyes focus onto the aircraft that zooms right over them. His mind flashes back to the figure being dragged into it on the pillar, his heart plummets deep into his soul. He staggers, throat gone dry and his lips part, and it comes out much louder and scratchier than Jerran first anticipated, "NO! AXELIA!"
He immediately tries to contact her via his earpiece, but all he is getting is static. Gale steps over and puts a hand on Jerran's shoulder, "Jay-"
Jerran cringes away and screams, "LET ME ALONE AND SHUT UP!"
"Easy, dude!"
"Don't tell me-"
An alarm goes off loud and clear, "WARNING, WARNING, UNIDENTIFIED PROGRAM...UNIDENTIFIED PROGRAM..."
Quorra steps between the two boys, "Try again, later, I need to get you out now. Follow me!"
And the three young men follow, Zephyr out of just going along to break free, but Jerran mostly being dragged. He keeps stopping and looking in the direction the plane went, his heart dropping more each time he looks.
He doesn't want this last goodbye...
