I really, really wanted to see a fully armored Riven (thanks to thegadgetfishes.deviantart.com… ). So I drew one.It was difficult deciding on the helm type, but I chose a Crusader type greathelm because it occurred to me that the Crusades have...a few parallels to the Noxian invasion (that's slightly bullshit, I also really like greathelms like this).
There are elements of the bits of armor we see on her regular skin in-game...Like the belt, and the greaves, and the pauldron which I changed a bit.
I sorta screwed up with her pose and made it very Dark Souls II -ish...but it looks good. Lol.
I had a lot of fun with this, and it makes a pretty good reference for future drawings.

Quite an interesting design. I really like the helmet idea since It would cover up her whole face. Also it would be really cool if her sword was replaced with the Greatsword from Darksouls II since that sword is giant like riven's. I just thought of that because it could fit with her medieval style armor.

It would fit really well, though I prefer the look of the Greatsword from DkS 1, it just looks more realistic and better in general. Lol. :3 It's probably the kind of weapon she'd use before Noxus gives her the runic blade anyway. 
With the helm I just don't like when people sacrifice things for the sake of always showing the character's face, even if it's for identifying purposes (this especially happens with female characters, ugh). You know? Also I thought she should have a badass helmet that goes with the armor.

Ooh I didn't know what the greatsword looked like in the first one until now xD Yeah I agree it looks alot cooler than the one in Dks2.
And yeah I don't get why they do that. The only female champion that I can think of that has a helmet would probably be kayle. But then again pretty much all her other skins show off her face. It would be kinda dumb if they only did this kind of thing for identity purposes cause I mean who in the world can't identify someone like Riven in game if she's wearing a helmet? She's probably the only female champion with a giant ass sword xD

Essactly! That's partly why I also really like Kayle, badass armor and a firey sword. And wings! Lol. Hmm...from other stuff off the top of my head...there's Samus from Metroid...uuuhh....well the Darkmoon Knightess, Quelanna, and Lucatiel from the Souls games...yea I can't really think of anyone else. =-= I guess Akali has a mask of a sort, but I dunno if that really counts since it hides like less than half of her face. Lol.

LOL wow since you brought Sammus up, it reminded me of the time when I found out that sammus was a girl ( I used to think she was a boy ). I remember playing Super smash bros brawl when I was 8 years old. I used her ultimate thinking that she would turn into a badass muscular dude but instead I find a sexy woman with blonde hair xD After that, I had to sit in the corner and re-think my whole life again. But yeah I can't really think of anyone else besides the ones you just listed either.
